Green Thumbs Workday: Langendorf

Please join us at Langendorf Park this Saturday, March 14th  from 9:45 – Noon to clean up our planting beds and beautify our little gem of a park!   If you’ve recently signed up with us, have never been to a gardening event or are a regular, come and meet new people or reconnect.

Langendorf Park is located at the Corner of Easterby & Woodward Avenue.

We’ll have some equipment on hand (e.g. gloves, cutters, shovels, bags), but you may also wish to bring your own equipment.  

PRE-GARDENING DAY TALK:  

From 9:00 – 9:30 at 141 Woodward Avenue (Ken Fong’s House)

Wish you knew how to prune your shrubs and small trees with confidence? 

Marin Master Gardener and Journeyman Pruner Sharna Brockett, will give an introductory talk on aesthetic pruning. Learn the What, Why, How, and When of pruning, the different types of cuts and when to use them, and practice shaping shrubs and small trees during a hands-on session at Langendorf Park (beginning at 9:45)
