While Sausalito Beautiful has worked with the City to plant some trees on Caledonia’s northern and southern blocks, there are still gaps on many blocks. To continue our work amid the City’s limited resources, Sausalito Beautiful has stepped up to assume the total cost of sourcing, planting, and watering these trees for the first year.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Although the trees themselves are not expensive, the installation, watering and wrought iron tree grates to protect the trees and insure pedestrian safety adds to the overall cost. In fact, the overall cost to plant and maintain one tree for the first year is $5,000. After this, the cost goes down substantially as the tree matures and its roots find water deep in the ground.

 

 

 

Branching Benefactor: $5,ooo

Your donation will fund the planting, watering and maintenance of one tree for one year. This includes the grate to protect the tree and pedestrians. You will receive a plaque next to the tree memorializing your name or a loved one for 5 years as well as recognition for your generous contribution on our website if desired. You will also receive the beautiful coffee table book, Speak for the Trees Andria Friesen.
