There are many ways to reduce water usage both inside and outside our homes.  In your garden, you should prioritize irrigation of your trees and vegetables, because grasses and smaller plants will either survive or be easy to replace.

In June, Sausalito Beautiful’s Green Thumbs volunteers swooped in to clean up at the Sausalito Post Office. The team even included two volunteers from Sioux Falls, South Dakota whose father founded Sioux Falls Beautiful.

Let’s get into the holiday spirit by learning all about green holiday decor and gift giving with Yasmine McGrane of Sausalito Beautiful and owner of Maison Rêve. In this session, each participant will make their own organic wreath to take home with them. Get ready to be creative together while listening to holiday music and sipping apple cider.

Sausalito faces many competing funding priorities. Urban trees represent a low-cost policy intervention that provides significant economic benefits, in addition to the widely-recognized environmental and human health benefits.
