Thank you to all of our Green Volunteers as well as members of the Sausalito Rotary Club for your hands-on work keeping our public spaces beautiful.
In late September, Green Thumbs volunteers and members of the Sausalito Rotary Club rejuvenated the Sausalito Post Office landscaping. They weeded, raked and removed debris, deadheaded the agapanthus, replanted succulents, and put down cardboard to prevent weeds with compost on top. This group of volunteers had previously planted the entire Post Office beds in 2017 and have been regularly cleaning them over the years.
In late August, Green Thumbs volunteers were once again joined by the Sausalito Rotary Club to clean up the basketball court at Southview Park by trimming and removing ivy overhanging the basketball court.
We look forward to seeing what new projects the Green Thumbs team takes on in 2023!
